With over two decades of experience advising foreign clients, Ake & Associates brings seasoned judgment and deep familiarity with Thai legal and regulatory practice to every engagement.

Our experience has been built through advising international clients across corporate, investment, real estate, dispute resolution, and regulatory matters — particularly where cross-border considerations and local realities intersect.

The Firm’s Development

Founded in 2010 by Akenarin Thongplod, a Thai Barrister with extensive experience advising foreign clients, Ake & Associates was established to provide clear, reliable legal guidance to international clients operating in Thailand.

In 2015, Frédéric Retif, a French lawyer with a master’s degree in business law and professional qualification (CAPA), became a partner, strengthening the firm’s international and cross-border advisory capability. In 2019, Nuansnit Chuntawong, a Thai attorney with a master’s degree in law, joined the partnership, further reinforcing the firm’s depth in legal advisory and regulatory matters.

Today, the firm operates as a senior-led advisory practice combining Thai legal expertise with international perspective.
